It's weekend update time! I need to remember to take more pictures if I am going to get back into my blogging life.
Also, it is definitely fall in Ann Arbor. I keep telling the trees to not change colors yet, because I want them to be pretty for when my mom comes next month...but they are starting to change colors. Also, there were acorns on the sidewalk and the temperatures were cold enough for a big comfy blanket during my nap yesterday. I am ready for fall, but not ready for winter - the Michigander-Washingtonian dilemma.
- Friday night was date night, which meant Mexican food and watching several episodes of Friday Night Lights on the couch (it is probably our third time watching the series...seriously love this show).
- Saturday included an all day shopping trip with my new buddy, Sarah! She is an academic advisor at another U-M program and it has been so nice to have someone I can brainstorm with in terms of work, but also do non-work things like grab lattes and buy new fall clothes and fall treats from Trader Joe's! (side note - thanks Ann Arbor for bringing it in terms of putting really awesome people in my life). Also, I bought the above dress and I am pretty excited about it! I picture it with a black cami underneath and leggings or colorful tights for fall!
- Sunday included church, helping some friends, napping, and watching the Seahawks. Also, my sister in law came over for football and dinner - a Sunday tradition that I love!
