When you live in a cold-weather place, you are constantly challenged by negative temps and attitudes. To battle the winter blues, I am trying to incorporate summer into winter. Overall, these interventions are working for me. What helps you stay positive during these darker, cold days?
Ideas/interventions not pictured below:
- Sit in a sauna (if your gym has one)
- Plan a fun summer trip (RJ and I have Chicago and a Northern Michigan Camping trip on our short list)
- Make smores indoors
incorporate bright colors in your work wardrobe set an exercise goal (mine: half marathon in April) | use a summer nail color maintain a gratitude list |
