I have a love-hate relationship with coats. I love the fact that I have the resources to wear and buy coats. I am so blessed to have the resources to do that! But, the fact that I am about to need this coat to survive my second Michigan winter makes me extremely sad. So...this is my public declaration that I will do my best, everyday, to be thankful when I put on my winter coat and step into the bone-chilling cold. Thankfulness is a good approach to getting through a midwest winter. Hold me to it! To the left is one of my favorite pea coats that I bought for my first grown-up job 7 years ago. Dry-clean once a year and it is in fabulous shape! Thanks Nordstrom clearance rack! (On a side note, this went from a Seattle winter coat option to a Michigan fall coat option.) |
